React Native or Flutter in 2026? A practical guide

Both are excellent. The right choice depends on your team, your product and your roadmap — not hype.

We ship apps with both frameworks every year, so we get asked this question a lot. The honest answer: both are mature, fast and used by huge products.

Choose React Native when…

  • Your team already knows React and TypeScript
  • You want to share logic with a web app
  • You rely on a large ecosystem of JavaScript libraries

Choose Flutter when…

  • You want pixel-identical UI on every platform
  • Your design is highly custom and animation-heavy
  • You are starting fresh without existing web code

What matters more

Architecture, testing and release discipline decide the success of an app far more than the framework. Pick the one your team can master, then invest in quality.
